Local skills plan 2024 to 2027
The vision of this sector local skills plan is:
Improve the conditions for, and ability of, the local sector to recruit, train and support and retain a representative, inclusive and skilled workforce ready for employment in the sport and physical activity sector, supporting the physical health and wellbeing of the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
To realise this vision, we must ensure that the sport and physical activity workforce is skilled, motivated, and valued to provide the best possible experience for the consumer.
A joined-up approach will ensure alignment between education, skills and economic plans and give stakeholders (education providers, funders, employers and professional bodies) a key reference point to maximise benefit and efficiency.
