Get involved with important mental health research

The State of Mind survey is now open to professionals working in fitness and leisure

This year, CIMSPA is again partnering with Workplace Mental Wealth to explore the state of mental health at all levels of the workforce and we are calling on you for your support.

We all have mental health in the same way that we all have physical health. By taking part in the survey you’ll be part of a nation-wide conversation to support the sector and its workforce.

The good news is, once the survey is complete, we will have year on year data to compare and will be able to draw trend conclusions to help everyone involved in the sector better understand the mental health of our friends and colleagues and where action is needed.

We have two survey options, one for individuals and one for employers for those in fitness and leisure at any level.

Surveys now completed

Answers are anonymous and each survey only takes five minutes to complete. Employees may hear directly from their employer about taking part.

These surveys are for anyone working in fitness and leisure. The employer survey should be completed by directors and ‘heads of’.

This year will be the second year we are calling on our members to take part in the Workforce State of Mind Survey

Tara Dillon, CEO, at CIMSPA said: “CIMSPA welcomed the findings of the 2021 report. This insightful research was the first significant move to shed light on the mental health of professionals working in fitness and active leisure. We’re delighted to be supporting the 2022 survey to continue to help the sector develop its approach to workplace mental health and support the wellbeing of the workforce.”

Results will be available to download in March 2022 from the Workplace Mental Wealth website.
