Our Board of Trustees has the executive responsibility for governing the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.
We are now recruiting one trustee to the board from CIMSPA’s membership, via an election. CIMSPA members who are eligible to vote* can participate in these elections.
If you are a CIMSPA member* you are eligible to vote in the election of our Board of Trustees.
The election will start from today, and the results will be announced at the institute’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 16 September 2020. Voting closes 12pm, Monday 14 September.
From today you will receive an email from our independent election partners Civica explaining how to vote online.

Our Board is made up of appointed Trustees who are independently appointed for their required knowledge and skills, and of elected Trustees who are members of CIMSPA and elected by our membership. Trustees act as champions of CIMSPA and lead the overall strategic work of the organisation, ensuring that CIMSPA realises its vision, mission and values and advances its charitable purposes. Trustees have an equal responsibility for decisions made by the board.
