A fundamental part of CIMSPA’s work is the creation, development, and implementation of regulation, professional standards and apprenticeship Standards.

The Education, Regulation and Standards team has established education partnerships with Awarding Organisations, Training Providers, and Higher Education Institutes, endorsing products and providing quality assurance to support with the mission of ensuring the availability of quality and relevant learning and development opportunities for the sectors workforce.

CIMSPA endorsement and quality Kitemark is backed by over 165 CIMSPA Employer Partners, operating across the UK. They have committed to recognising qualifications endorsed against CIMSPA professional standards for direct entry into relevant roles. These employers are actively building employability pathways and supporting the mission shared by CIMSPA Higher Education Partners, CIMSPA Training Provider Partners and CIMSPA Awarding Organisation Partners.

What this means for YOU as a sport and physical activity professional:

• The CIMSPA-endorsed qualifications, training and CPD you complete are designed around real-world employer needs.
