Evidencing a professional standard

Evidencing a professional standard

How to provide evidence of completing a professional standard

There are five types of evidence you can provide that CIMSPA can review to be confident that the requirements for completing a professional standard have been met.

  • For most professional statuses, the requirements are solely based on evidencing the competency statements of one or more of the professional standards
  • Advanced general and advanced senior managers must both evidence the competency statements of the relevant occupation professional standard and provide additional evidence.
  • For chartered professional statuses, individuals must also successfully complete the chartered assessment process.

If you are unsure whether you can provide appropriate evidence or would like support with your application, please get in touch.
