How can our sector support those who are NEET back into learning or into work?

By targeting those who are not in employment, education or training (NEET), the sport and physical activity sector can be driving force to increase rates of employment and support economic growth.

Following on from the recent publication of the government’s Get Britain Working White Paper, which aims to support those locked out of work due to long-term sickness, and young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) into the workplace, we explore how our sector can feed into this work and open up opportunities to those who may not have previously thought about a career in sport and physical activity.

In this video, CIMSPA’s Director of Marketing and Communications Annette Wade-Clarke leads a discussion with Associate Director for Business Engagement Clare Dunn and Associate Director for the Training Academy Natasha Eason around the practical steps that are being taken and what else can be done to support the government’s ambitions.
