Member Webinar – Move with Meaning: Inclusive Practice for Older Adults and People Living with Dementia

Member Webinar – Move with Meaning: Inclusive Practice for Older Adults and People Living with Dementia

Discover how to create inclusive, engaging, and meaningful physical activity opportunities for older adults, including those living with dementia.

31 October – 10-11am

This webinar will join together theory and practical guidance for your professional practice. We’ll also explore national data to get a ‘birds eye view’ across the UK on ageing populations, people living with long term health conditions and people who are living with dementia.

As part of this session we will look more into what dementia is and how it can affect movement and participation. We will then build on that by looking at common barriers to inclusion, and how practitioners can adapt sessions to meet individual needs.

You’ll get to hear about real-world examples, simple strategies, and insights into professional pathways to develop your skills in dementia-inclusive practice.

As always, you’ll have the opportunity to ask our speakers your questions.
