Logo usage guidelines
This guide covers usage of the CIMSPA education partner quality assurance logo, with three main goals:
- Supporting prospective learners in selecting their education provider.
- Helping CIMSPA Education Partners to promote the quality of their provision.
- Ensuring the consistent use and protection of the CIMSPA brand as a trusted chartered institute.
The logo
The CIMSPA education partner quality assurance logo is a single graphic consisting of two elements:
- The CIMSPA education partner logo
- The quality assurance outcome (three variants)
The education partner quality assurance logo must only be used with both elements together as supplied.
The quality assurance outcome element below the CIMSPA education partner logo element must not be used separately.
Logo variations
There are three variants of the logo.
Correct logo usage
CIMSPA Education Partners (Training Provider Partners, Higher Education Partners and Further Education Provider Partners) should use the relevant CIMSPA education partner quality assurance logo as determined by their most recent annual review (one, two or three stars).
Updating usage of the education partner quality assurance logo
If the education partner’s quality assurance outcome should change as part of their annual review (for example moving from two to three stars), partners should update their use of the logo:
- Digital platforms and documents: within one month of being notified of change.
- Printed material: within three months unless a specific agreement is made between CIMSPA and the partner.
Licensing and permissions
Do not use the CIMSPA Education Partner quality assurance logo for any purposes not approved by CIMSPA. Contact us for permission for special use cases.
Logo usage – design guidelines
Colours
The CIMSPA Education Partner quality assurance logo must only be used in one of three colour options. All are supplied in the logo pack partners will be given.
- CIMSPA Navy
- Pantone 288
- CMYK: 100, 80, 6, 32
- RGB: 18, 50, 110
- Hex: 12326e
- White (for use on dark backgrounds)
- Black (for use if printing in black and white)
Size and proportion
- The logo should not be used below 50mm wide.
- Do not alter the proportions of the logo.
Clear space
- Maintain clear space around the logo to ensure visibility and legibility. The minimum clear space is equivalent to the width of the shield element in the logo.
Alterations
- Do not amend the logo artwork or apply any effects e.g. drop shadows, gradients or outlines.
