Wayne Glover

Founder and Managing Director of Time 4 Sport UK, Wayne launched in 2007 while studying Sports Development and Coaching at Staffordshire University. The company is headquartered at the Michelin Sports Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Time4Sport delivers bespoke physical education, sport, health, and wellbeing services in schools and to families across Staffordshire and Cheshire.

Under Wayne’s leadership, Time4Sport now supports around 7,500 children weekly, employs 26 staff and up to 50 additional seasonal workers for holiday activities and food provision. Wayne fostered a partnership with Staffordshire University academics to develop an app and platform supporting weight management for children, leveraging a Knowledge Transfer Partnership and regional innovation funding.

Wayne was recently entered the Alumni Business Person of the Year category at the University of Staffordshire Business Awards, with Time 4 Sport also shortlisted for the Innovation Award and Business in the Community Award.

Time4Sport actively collaborates with schools, commissioners, and university including sponsoring T‑Level placements and hosting interns to create tangible impact locally and support emerging talent.

Through Time 4 Sport and community partnerships, Wayne continues his mission: empowering children with healthy habits and bridging gaps in school PE provision and community health-support services.
