Safety Training Awards is the awarding organisation of The Swimming Teachers’ Association, a registered charity and national governing body for swimming and lifesaving. Founded in 1932, the STA has over 20,000 members and is dedicated to preserving human life through teaching swimming, lifesaving, and survival techniques.
Safety Training Awards certifies vocational qualifications in swimming teaching, lifesaving, first aid, health and safety, and pool plant operations. As a CIMSPA Education Partner, these Ofqual regulated qualifications align with national occupational standards and legal requirements across industries, supporting safety and skill development.
