Sarah Jones - Community Development Manager

Sarah leads programmes that use the power of football and sport to inspire positive change across the city. With a deep commitment to tackling inequality and supporting inclusion, Sarah oversees projects that improve health, wellbeing, education, and opportunities for local people.

Drawing on her extensive experience in community engagement and partnership working, Sarah has built strong relationships with schools, local authorities, charities, and grassroots organisations. Her leadership ensures that Leicester City in the Community delivers high-quality initiatives that respond to local needs, helping people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in activity.

Sarah is particularly passionate about creating opportunities for young people, supporting them to build confidence, develop life skills, and broaden their horizons. She is also a strong advocate for using sport as a tool to connect communities, break down barriers, and drive social change.

Through her work, Sarah continues to champion Leicester City in the Community’s mission of harnessing the influence of the football club to make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
