Training Academy Course of the Week – Swim England Qualifications Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching)

This course develops knowledge and skills as an assistant swimming teacher. It will enable learners to actively support a qualified swimming teacher in delivering high quality inclusive swimming lessons in a range of settings, for example at a leisure centre, swim school or club learn to swim programme.

No prior experience of teaching swimming is required, as your tutor will guide and support you in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to become an assistant swimming teacher. You need to have turned 16 by the start date of this course.
