During this session Tara will highlight how launching professional status can drive greater recognition of the sector’s crucial role in enhancing community well-being and contributing to national health and development.
As part of this webinar, you will hear all about the benefits of professionalisation, the pathway to achieving it, and the transformative effect it can have on workforce credibility and sector-wide influence.
More on Professional Status…
In September, we will be introducing individual professional status accreditation for our full members, ensuring they are professionally recognised for their expertise and competence by a professional regulatory body and therefore by peers, employers, the public and professionals in other sectors.
Having a professional status is a way for sport & physical activity professionals to show the world that they are a trained and highly skilled professional in their chosen career. In the occupations described by the sector’s professional standards, there will be one or more professional statuses that indicate the level of expertise and experience an individual has in that role. As they progress in their career, those in the sport & physical activity sector will be able to gain new professional statuses that celebrate their expertise and highlight their knowledge and commitment.
