CIMSPA endorses Les Mills group exercise training offer in new partnership
The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) is today celebrating a major new partnership with group exercise specialists Les Mills.
Les Mills are the first CIMSPA skills development partner to have their entire group exercise training offer fully endorsed by the UK sport and physical activity sector’s chartered professional body. Fitness instructors now have the opportunity to gain CIMSPA-recognised CPD points when completing qualification and refresher training with Les Mills.
CIMSPA’s recognition covers 14 Les Mills group exercise products, including public favourites such as Les Mills BODYPUMP™ and Les Mills BODYCOMBAT™. Initial module, refresher and advanced instructor training are all included within the endorsement package, which covers over 50 individual modules.

The new partnership takes the total number of training and CPD products recognised by CIMSPA to over 175. A continuous stream of new providers are now passing through the CIMSPA endorsement process as the chartered professional body continues its creation of a sector-wide qualifications, training and CPD ecosystem led by employers, underpinned by quality, and delivered to agreed professional standards.
