CIMSPA launches mat-based pilates consultation

We are looking forward to your feedback on the mat-based pilates professional standard

The consultation is open until 12 February 2021. If you are a training provider, make sure to contribute your expertise before the closing date.

Natasha Eason, Education and Apprenticeships Officer, commented on the new standard: “We want the industry’s feedback to strengthen the sector. The meetings we have were positive and enagaging and we want to continue the open communication and dialogue with employers and training providers. Professional standards are the hallmark of a competent and qualified sector.”

We welcome the industries input into the standard following two very engaging meetings that got us to where we are now.

There have previously been two professional development committees where it was suggested mat based pilates needed an updated standard to help keep the industry moving forward and recognise the great work that is happening.
