IfA opens apprenticeship proposals consultation

The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfA) has opened consultation on two new sport and physical activity sector-specific apprenticeship standards. CIMSPA is inviting its partners to add their expertise to this consultation.

The proposed standards are:

• Physical Education Physical Activity and Youth Sport Specialist.
• Sport Performance Analyst.

CIMSPA is asking that participating partners should consider two specific points within their consultation response:

• If they support the development of the proposed apprenticeship standard.
• Whether partner organisations agree that it would typically take 12 months’ training to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for effective deployment in each role.
