Innovate Awarding celebrate new identity

Thanks to our awarding organisation partners Innovate Awarding for keeping us up to date on the launch of their new name and updated website.

On Thursday 11 February, delegates, exhibitors, and associates of Innovate Awarding gathered at the historic Bristol venue of St George’s Church to mark the official launch of Innovate Awarding (formerly Lifetime Awarding) brand. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate our recent rebranding and upgraded website, and to confirm our approach to designing and delivering top quality vocational qualifications. The atmospheric crypt at St George’s provided the ideal backdrop for the occasion, and played host to a ‘who’s who’ in the vocational skills sector, along with friends and strategic partners.

The launch event offered a first-look demonstration of a revolutionary new product that could change the future of how qualifications are delivered and assessed. Innovate Awarding acknowledges that technology has changed the way society works and this impacts on the learning experience too.

Demonstrating products at the event were PEARL (developed by Stonebridge), with their virtual learning environment, e-learning leaders vision2learn, online assessment platform XAMS, developed by Coelrind, and the virtual invigilation system developed by ProctorU. The evening also provided the perfect opportunity for networking over wine and canapés, with plenty of local Bristol and South West businesses in attendance.

Following a few words from our chair, Jerry Jarvis, and managing director, John McNamara, guests were encouraged to explore the innovative developments on display as delicious food supplied by local delicatessen Papadeli was circulated by friendly staff. During the evening a prize draw took place and Debbie Hughes from AELP was the lucky recipient of an iPad Mini.

The launch has firmly planted Innovate Awarding on the map and we would like to thank everyone involved for making the event such a success.
