About ReEngage

ReEngage was a free digital learning platform for anyone working in the sport and physical activity sector in England, designed to “future proof” workforce skill sets as the sport recovered from Covid-19. It was funded by Sport England, commissioned by CIMSPA and delivered by a consortium of partners led by Future Active Workforce CIC.

What ReEngage provided

ReEngage provided online learning and skills development in four key areas, designed to ensure that everyone providing sport and physical activity services has the knowledge and confidence to engage with all members of their community:

  • Awareness of the prevalence, impact and treatment of long Covid.
  • Engaging effectively with inactive adults with no pre-existing health conditions.
  • Communicating with customers, especially those who may be lacking the confidence to return to physical activity.
  • Awareness of the aspects of ageing that can be controlled or influenced through physical activity.

Completing the ReEngage Training Package awarded a digital certificate, with the option to upgrade to a recognised qualification.

Who was it for?
