Training provider partner - onboarding checklist

This checklist details what information/documentation will be required to a training provider partnership application.

1. Partnership enquiry form

  • General contact information for the person at your organisation we will contact to support the process


2. Partnership application form

General organisation information

  • Legal organisation name
  • Trading name
  • Contact information for liaison person
  • Organisation address
  • Legal status of organisation (e.g. private limited company)
  • Website (URL)
  • Brief overview of your organisation and its history
  • Number of years active
  • Delivery areas/locations. For example – HQ is in London, but organisation delivers nationally, or in named regions
  • Company registration number, charity number, VAT number, ICO registration number (as applicable)


Education delivery information

  • Approved awarding body status
  • Awarding body delivery centre status (if applicable) and linked awarding organisation(s)
  • For regulated training
    • Approved centre status document
    • QAN codes for courses approved to deliver
  • For non-regulated training
    • Overview of employer engagement with training course development
    • Number of years delivering non-regulated (CPD) training
    • Scheme of work for the ONE piece of CPD training being used to process your application
  • For CPD, name of professional standard(s) you intend to map your training to
  • List of other endorsement/accreditation bodies your organisation works with
  • Number of employees
  • CVs of all tutors and/or assessors for the courses you deliver

  • Summary of what are you hoping to achieve from being an approved CIMSPA training provider partner


3. Policies and procedures

At the relevant application stage, we will request the following documents:

  • Equality and diversity policy
  • Quality assurance policy
  • Quality monitoring and standardisation schedule
  • Reasonable adjustments and special consideration policy
  • Complaints policy
  • Appeals procedure
  • Maladministration and malpractice policy
  • Safeguarding and prevention policy
