Introducing the new CIMSPA membership benefits programme
Here at CIMSPA we are always working to make sure our members get the best possible value from their membership, and after a year that has been heavily impacted by Covid-19, we believe this is more important than ever.
This is an ongoing process of talking to our members and partners, running focus groups and getting feedback and input to make sure our benefits package stays relevant, useful and valuable.
These conversations have taken place throughout this year and have led us to restructuring and rebranding our membership benefits programme.
The new programme brings to life the core value of CIMSPA membership, which is all about recognition of a member’s professional status and helping people to achieve their career ambitions, all the way through to chartered status.
This ethos of “Be Recognised” is underpinned by four categories of benefits and rewards, with more options unlocked as members enhance their professional status.
Be Ahead
This section is all about taking control of your career progression and staying at the forefront of the sector.
Through the CIMSPA Academy, members can access free CPD eLearning, endorsed by CIMSPA, along with discounts on a range of other training courses, qualifications and CPD, all mapped to the highest professional standards. Members in eligible practitioner categories can also access the UK Coaching Learning and Development platform.
Our members also benefit from the CIMSPA membership directory, enabling you to create an online profile that showcases your qualifications and professional status to customers and employers.
Be Connected
CIMSPA membership provides a host of opportunities to build your professional network within the sector, making contacts that can provide help and support throughout your career.
Members also benefit from regular webinars featuring sector experts, invaluable insight and practical takeaways to support your career journey as well as provide you with CPD points.

Our sector is all about making a difference to people’s lives through sport and physical activity, and CIMSPA members can play a part in shaping the future of the sector.
Members are the first to hear about opportunities to input on the development of new and existing professional standards, have a say on sector policy and support the next generation through our structured mentoring scheme.
