We’re building pathways to chartered membership and fellowship for everyone in our sector
As of today (8 June) you can apply to join the new cohort of chartered members. We currently have membership options for activity and health practitioners as well as management.
Chartered status is valued by employers throughout the United Kingdom, with countless organisations currently employing chartered professionals.
Your knowledge and skills are rediscovered with the chartered assessment, meaning not only will you discover your strengths and weaknesses, but as a chartered professional you’ll be highly sought after by employers.
Prices vary depending on what route you take, and the first cohort will run from 8 June to 8 July. The second cohort will run from 8 July to 8 September.
What is chartered?
A member is a professional who meets the professional standards in their particular field of work. Their role demands the practical knowledge skills and behaviours as well as the occupational qualification to underpin competencies.
A chartered member on the other hand combines the above with a thorough (and assessed) understanding and demonstration of the broad multidisciplinary expertise. Chartered status is a mark of excellence in our sector.
