Training Academy Course of the Week - Tai Chi and Qigong for Rehabilitation and Well-Being

This course is delivered both in person and online over eight days and provides an understanding of tai chi and qigong, along with motivation and mindfulness skills to allow learners to better support and develop their students.

The four course modules are spaced over a six month period to give learners time to develop an understanding of the content in readiness to come back and feedback at the next module.

Training provider - Midlands Tai Chi Rehab

Format – Hybrid

Start date - Module 1: 12 and 13 May 2025
Module 2: 7 and 8 July 2025
Module 3: 1 and 2 September 2025
Module 4: 3 and 4 November 2025

Course duration – 8 days (50 hours)

CIMSPA CPD points – 10

Career development

On successful completion of the course learners will be able and equipped to teach tai chi & qigong sessions to groups and individuals of varying abilities.

Learners will also develop an awareness of the importance of how language impacts motivation and learning through the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) skills.
