Member-developed academic research linking through to service delivery
In 2014, CIMSPA published initial research co-authored by CIMSPA member Geoff Nichols at the University of Sheffield, together with Deborah Forbes, Newcastle University Business School. This research is linked below. Further case studies have been developed with Lindsay Findlay-King and Gordon MacFadyen at Northumbria University. Gordon MacFadyen is also a CIMSPA member.
It is now clear that the transfer of leisure services to voluntary provision is a significant and growing trend. This research hub contains links to relevant case studies and other resources, and will be updated as ongoing research is published.
