Swim to the Beat campaign set for SPATEX 2023
SPATEX 2023 will be the launchpad for the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) and British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Swim to the Beat fundraising campaign, which will kick off on Wednesday, 1 February 2023.
The campaign will feature on the Aqua Warehouse Stand E2, with a team of swimmers demonstrating a variety of swim strokes including synchronised and mermaid swimming. It invites swim schools, clubs and leisure facilities to participate in fundraising for the month of February – Heart Month.
Monies raised will fund vital research into heart and circulatory disease, organisers SPATEX said.
A double-seminar programme containing a significant block of knowledge awaits SPATEX attendees, organisers said.
The 2023 programme will include representatives from the ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers), RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society), IoS (Institute of Swimming), STA, LCA (Legionella Control Association) and PWTAG (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group).
Organisers said that the biggest social event for the pool and hot tub industry, the annual Gala Evening, will be held during SPATEX on Tuesday, 31 January, consisting of dinner, drinks and live entertainment.
The main attraction is the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards ceremony hosted by SPATA and BISHTA, bringing the UK’s most skilled wet leisure companies together in celebration. To book, email admin@bspf.org.uk or call 01264 356 210.
