Myzone ready for global switch-on

Myzone has announced the launch of MZ-Open, an access function that enables the company’s gym users to experience all the benefits of its heart rate training through their smart watch.

Many gym goers already own a smart watch and according to a recent Statista prediction, by 2028 the global smart watch market will jump from a value of just over $38bn (£29.8bn) in 2021 to more than $62bn.

As the world embraces the technology, the business is embracing this trend by offering a more inclusive route into its unique heart rate training global community with the big ‘switch-on’ happening on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.

Now all existing Myzone-powered training zones in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will be able to activate MZ-Open, extending their opportunity to attract more members into their connected communities.

Pairing an Apple or Android smart watch to Myzone is simple and once activated, users have access to the full company ecosystem providing accurate heart rate training, fitness tests, real-time feedback and access to the firm’s global community.

By simply scanning a QR code on screen with a smartphone, users can also join live gym boards and keep earning MEPs (Myzone Effort Points) whenever they move.
