CIMSPA member and partner portal

If you’re a CIMSPA member you may know that we’ve now officially moved over to a new system! A lot of you have already jumped on-board, which is great to see! We’ve had some fantastic feedback on the features and functionality of the portal, so thank you for all of your comments and enthusiasm. It has some great new features for you to explore. Here’s some FAQs that may help if you are having any issues.

Portal troubleshooting

As with any major system upgrade, there will be a few glitches and we are working hard to resolve all of these as soon as possible.

Below are the issues that we are currently fixing, and we’ll keep this page updated with the latest progress.

If you have any other problems or questions, please email info@cimspa.co.uk.

CIMSPA partner access

If you are a CIMSPA partner, we realise that you may have had issues accessing your account and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Launching any new system is difficult and there are always bumps in the road, but we are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that you can have the best experience of the new partner portal. We would just ask you to please bear with us and this will be resolved as soon as possible.

As a CIMSPA partner, how do I access my organisations profile to view/invite team members or submit education products for endorsement?

We understand that some partners can’t access their profile at present. Please note that we are working in the background to resolve this and full functionality should be available very soon.

If you have any concerns, please contact your Partnership Executive, or email partners@cimspa.co.uk, who will be happy to help with anything that they can. Thank you for all of your patience at this time and you will receive an email from us as soon as you have full functionality.

Approved qualifications not appearing on my profile

All qualifications are still showing in the CIMSPA directory, but not on some user profiles. This issue is currently being resolved, but please be assured that your qualifications are still in our system.

CPD not appearing on my profile

All CPD is still showing in the CIMSPA directory, but not on some user profiles. This issue is currently being resolved, but please be assured that your qualifications are still in our system.

Cancelled members cannot log in to the portal after activating their account/getting a ‘You don’t have access to this section’ message.

Cancelled members should have access to the portal and we are currently working on resolving this issue. If you require your account to be reactivated, please contact the team on 03438 360200 and we can help manually process this for you. Once your account is live again you will be able to log in as normal.

How do I log in to the new portal?

All members and partners will be sent an email with instructions on how to log in, but just in case that goes missing, here’s what you need to do:

  • Click on this link or head to the CIMSPA website and click on “LOGIN"
  • Click on the button that says “Existing member new portal account activation"
  • Enter the email address you used when you registered your CIMSPA membership
  • Check your email inbox for an activation link (remember to check your spam folder just in case the email goes in there)
  • Click on the activation link and you will be taken to the portal landing page
  • Follow the prompts to set up a new password for your account

That’s it. You’re all set to start exploring the new portal!

When you do log in to the new portal, you’ll notice that we’ve updated our Member Code of Conduct, which you’ll need to sign up to. The Code has been updated based on member feedback – you can read more about that here.

What is happening?

We are moving to a new platform for the CIMSPA website and online member portal. For the last few years we have used a platform called Tahdah and we are now transitioning to a new platform.

When is this happening?

The new member portal goes live soon and all members and partners will get an email from us with details of how to log in. With the transition to this new system, there will be a short period, starting Friday 23 September, where our website and membership portal won’t be available to use.

Why make the change?

Tahdah has served us well for the last few years, but we reviewed the market and decided that this new system would be better placed to provide the experience and functionality that we want to deliver for our members and partners.

What changes will I notice?

This new portal is a significant upgrade on our current system, with features including:

  • Ability to search other members in our directory
  • Get reminders when to renew your membership and access to benefits
  • Ability to search and view the organisation directory.

We will also be introducing additional features over the next few months and will keep you updated on those.

You’ll also notice that we have a new website, which is easier to navigate around to find all the information you need about CIMSPA and everything we are doing.

Can I just carry on using the old system?

We have moved away from the previous Tahdah system, so it will no longer be possible to use it after Friday 23 September. The new system is a big improvement and you should find it easier to use, with better features for our members and partners.
